Swimming in

This mini bathtub sculpture is a commission by HART, Henderson, Baker Circle in collaboration with Kohler. To me, apart from reading, bath is an ultimate getaway in an urban home. The work is inspired by the tranquility of bath experiences and compositions of Asian landscape paintings. Resin and layers of shredded glass pieces construct the body of pond. Together with wires and imitation jade pieces assemble willow looking plantation growing from the tub. A contemporary colour palette is employed to give the work a modern look that suit the community’s lifestyle at Baker Circle.
